  • Each candle is adorned with carefully selected fabrics and ribbons, layered elegantly to create a refined and sophisticated look.
  • Your choice to add an icon of Christ or the Theotokos on the larger lambatha. 
  • This handmade design can be purchased as a set (One 32” Lambada and Two 17” Candles) or individually in both sizes.
  • The 32” candle has a 1.5” diameter. The 17” candles have a ¾” diameter.
  • Candles burn at the rate of approximately 1” per hour and are smoke and drip-resistant.
  • These candles are created from a blend of superior-quality paraffin wax with a pure cotton wick for a slow and calm burn.
  • In a Greek Baptism, the godparent (“nonos” or “nona”) holds the large candle. The 17” candles are small enough to be easily held by children or any other participant going around the font.
  • The larger candle is lit for the three consecutive Sundays following the Baptism when the newly baptized receives Holy Communion.

Nice and simple and easy to manage. I didn’t want giant heavy candles. These came to me in Florida in good condition and not melted. Very happy with the purchase. It was a challenge to find something that wasn’t all pink or blue. I really liked the natural look of the lampathes.
