Details

  • Lambathes are wrapped in two-tone pink/natural and ivory twine. The larger lambatha is accented with draped fabric detailing, a grosgrain bow, and a sweet twine flower.
  • Also available with a crinoline bow.
  • This handmade design can be purchased as a set (one 32” lambatha and two 17” candles) or individually in both sizes.
  • In a Greek Baptism, the godparent (“nonos” or “nona”) holds the 32” candle. The 17” candles are small enough to be easily held by children or any other participant going around the font.
  • After the Baptism sacrament, the larger candle is used for the three Sundays following Baptism when the newly baptized receives Holy Communion.
  • The 32” candle has a 1 ½ ” diameter and burns at the rate of ⅓” per hour. 17” candles have a ¾” diameter and burn at the rate of 1” per hour.
  • All candles are smoke and drip resistant.

Stefanothiki and Wedding Items

My son and daughter-in-law were married in October. Dahlia did candles, boubounieres, stefania for the wedding. Everything was beautiful!
